B&B Globetrotter was founded by Daniele Russo, an ex-Erasmus student in Salamanca, who wanted to find a place where people from all over the world could come to discover Catania and Sicily and to experience the Sicilian way of life. With us, you can enjoy all the facilities of a hotel but also all the joys of low cost hostel accommodation in Catania’s city center. Globetrotter’s aim is to enable our guests to visit and live in Catania, to help them discover the culture and the way in which the people of Catania “i catanesi” live.
We hope that through our help you will be able to discover this city in the best way possible. Throughout the year Daniele and friends arrange dinner parties, excursions, skiing, swimming, scuba-diving and many more activities that represent our city and its lifestyle.
We are very friendly here and will help you with anything you need. It will be our pleasure to get to know our guests over a good cup of coffee or tea and to answer any questions you have. We will provide a map of the city and any extra information you desire. We know all about the city and are in a position to help you around. We also organise social and cultural events with our guests and friends if you would like to participate. The Globetrotter bed and breakfast in Catania is gay friendly.
